Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy explains when and how orders placed with Star Photo Lab, a sole proprietorship (“Star Photo Lab”) can be cancelled and refunded. Because our products are custom-made and printed to order, the following terms apply.
1. Cancellation
- Before production begins — you may cancel a paid order before we start production (printing/binding). In this case, the full amount paid is refunded.
- After production begins — once production has started, the order cannot be cancelled, as the product is custom-printed specifically for you. Design fees for work already completed are non-refundable.
2. Refunds for Damaged or Defective Products
We stand behind the quality of our work. If your product arrives damaged in transit, or has a genuine manufacturing or printing defect on our part, we will reprint and reship it at no extra cost, or issue a refund, at our discretion. To raise a claim:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info.starphotolab@gmail.com.
- Share clear photographs of the damage or defect along with your order number.
3. What Is Not Covered
- Errors in customer-supplied content or specifications (wrong photos, spelling, layout, or size) that were approved before production.
- Minor variations in colour, tone, or finish inherent to the printing process.
- Delays or damage caused after delivery or by incorrect address details provided by the customer.
4. How Refunds Are Processed
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method through our payment partner, Razorpay. Once initiated, refunds typically reflect in your account within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
